Top Picks
After a bit of a downward correction in the trends over the last few weeks, we seem to be moving back up as the TBR list shows a total increase of over 800 domains this week. The .CA TBR domain listings for August 15th check in at 7,569, and when combined with the 6,734, 7,430 and 8,198 entries from the previous three weeks, that gives us an average of 7,482 TBR domains through the last month, down just a bit from last week’s average of 7,511.
The overall domain quantity is down considerably this week, and this is one of the weakest TBR lists we’ve seen in a very long time. It was tough rowing even assembling a Top Picks list, as to be brutally honest, there are no domain names this week that we would qualify as truly premium. But beggars can’t be choosers, so we’ve gone with the best of the worst for LLL options and selected NBK.CA, along with SAVOURY.CA, ELENDER.CA and HARDCASH.CA.
NBK.ca – Not a great LLL by any definition (what popular business term starts with “K”?), but it’s still the best of a very motley crew.
Savoury.ca – Cooking shows in Britain, Canada and Australia have brought this word to prominence. and as it is mostly used in the UK, this is actually the preferred spelling of the word.
eLender.ca – The “e” prefix is a bit old school, but with the incredible growth of these short-term/payday loan companies, it may have some value.
HardCash.ca – Another popular financial term that has definite “street” resonance for loan companies.

Of the remaining low-end LLL domains, VYS.ca, RZO.ca, ZMO.ca, ZRA.ca, and XGD.ca could be viable options, if only due to their more attractive ending letters.
One of the most important factors of lower-end LLL.CA domains like these is the presence of a company, especially a large North American multinational, using the corresponding .COM.
