After a long period of consistent TBR list increases, we’re now 3 weeks into a steady decline. Our domain count totaled up at 7,738 total listings, which represented a weekly decrease (-386) compared to the 8,124 entries of last week. When combined with the 8,353 and 9,085 TBR domains from the two weeks before that, this translates into a new and lower (by -182) weekly average of 8,325 TBR entries through the prior month.

Top Picks
The .CA numbers have dropped again, and the overall quality of the list is down noticeably. Other than one truly premium LLL, there really isn’t anything else in the same class, and our Top Picks list is shorter than usual, featuring 507.CA, IPV.CA, MTL.CA, and HAPTIC.CA.
507.ca – Any 3-character numeric that doesn’t start with “0” is always a good bet to go near the top of the list, although this domain is not exactly full of “lucky” ones.
IPV.ca – Not a premium domain by itself, but this week it gets promoted because of the somewhat usable letter combo, but mostly due to it being off the market since 2001. As an acronym, the ending “V” is limited, and could stand for Video, Venture, Virtual, Vendor, Volunteer, Visual, Vertical, Volume, Visa, Vector, Value/Valuation, Vested, Vote, Validation, Vacancy, Voyage, Variance, etc.

The ending “L” is also extremely flexible, with options like the ever-popular Limited, along with Law, Legal, Labour, Lfe, Liability, Learning, Listing, Leasing, Loans, Local, Line, Light, Leader, Land, Leverage, Liason, Logic, Lodging, Liquidation, Luxury, etc.
Haptic.ca – The 1-word options are not very good this week, but this term not only has current popularity but it’s also a flexible word that can be used in a wide variety of business sectors.

Other LLL.CA Domains
The number of lower-end 3-letter domains has jumped considerably this week, rising to 16, which is noticeably higher than the 5, 11, and 3 leftover range from the prior 3 weeks . Unfortunately, the LLL remains are not filled with almost-premium domains, with lots of bad news letters like J, Q, V, X, Y, and Z, but if forced to choose, then BQP.ca, JQU.ca, KEQ.ca, VFV.ca, and VYT.ca rise slightly above the bottom of the barrel.
