On November 29 at 2PM EST there were 65 .CA domain names selected from the TBR list, which is a bit higher than the 47 domains taken last week, and about on par with the 62 from the week before that. These .CA TBR runs usually hit over 100, and while it’s nice to see the numbers getting close to 70, it’s still not where we expect them to be in a vibrant marketplace.
The TBR selection process take place in 5-second intervals, so it is important to look at the list and domain names in this manner, as well as noting that prospective buyers are a varied mix of companies, web developers, investors and speculators. The initial wave of .CA selections this week included three of our top picks in FONT.CA, TWI.CA, and OBLIVIOUS.CA, while two others, REASONS.COM and TRAGIC.CA, were picked a bit later.
It was a surprise to see our other top pick, OUN.CA, fall below many other lower-quality LLL domains like QWB.CA and RCQ.CA, but there is usually only one three-letter combination that fits, and maybe these are companies or web developers looking for that specific configuration.

PSST.CA – Gossip or Celebrity site.
REGALE.CA – Social Media/Writing blog.
SKIPS.CA – Multi-use domain.
