First off, with well over 11,000 .CA domain names dropping this week, this is a high water mark for the recent past and one of the largest expired totals I have ever seen. The .CA TBR domains usually number in the 6,000 to 8,000 range and this extreme rise probably coincides with a big 99-cent sale where people bought any .CA domain that wasn’t nailed down.

The higher numbers really didn’t translate into a significantly better selection of premium .CA domain names, and we have our standard number of premium LLL combinations, though with slightly more common word domains.
IFC.CA – Nice combination of letters and ending with “C” opens up all kinds of possibilities (Canada/Canadian/Corporation/Company). IFC.COM resolves to IFC, which used to be the Independent Film Channel (no idea what it means now) but has since devolved into a reality TV/sitcom channel.
MLN.CA – Good combination of premium letters and no vowels for the Chip buyer and in fact, this .COM forwards to a Chinese travel/recruitment site (HIELITES.COM). The “N” ending is also popular for terms like National.
TRS.CA – Another premium letter combination and the “S” at the end translates into popular business terms like Systems or Services. The .COM resolves to a sales landing page purporting to be Topic Related Searching.
UMS.CA – Two out of three premium letters and ends with an “S” – .COM resolves to a 1990’s-era website for a small firm in Vermont.
CREATES.CA – Positive term that can be used in a variety of businesses, and while creative or create might be better, those would likely never drop.
EXPEND.CA – Another terms that exudes hard work and determination, as well as being a singular word without any suffix.
MARLEEN.CA – First and last names are always in demand, and with this someone can the only MARLEEN.CA.
