The number of expired .CA domains has dropped slightly from last week, but the level of quality is a bit better. After seeing YO.CA expire just two weeks ago, it’s a surprise to welcome YR.CA onto the TBR list this week. There are also a few nice LLL domains like HMI.CA, EEG.CA and KTE.CA, as well as the very strong single-word INCREASE.CA.
YR.ca – A new LL.CA enters the TBR list, and this is another really nice one with many potential uses.
COK.ca – Although the phonetic isn’t appropriate for most businesses, this LLL does have a nice combination of letters.
EEG.ca – A nice set of letters and is also short form for Electroencephalography.
HMI.ca – Potentially the best LLL on the list, as the “I” can stand for many business end terms, such as Inc. and International.
KKW.ca – The most obvious connection is “Kim Kardashian West” and her beauty line, but she doesn’t own the .COM and markets under KKW Beauty.
KTE.ca – Another good letter combination, and the “E” could be used for terms like Enterprise of Exports.
RYS.ca – The middle “Y” is troublesome, but the ending “S” is popular with IT for System or Systems.
Designs.ca – A killer single-word that contrary to popular online usage, actually works better as a plural.
Increase.ca – A strong single-word that has a very positive and business-oriented connotation.
Quebecer.ca – This term represents an entire province, so there should be some demand.

This week has released a legion of non-premium LLL.CA domain names onto the TBR list (44 to be exact) but unfortunately that doesn’t translate into a commensurate increase in quality – 24 of them start with Q, X or Z. The majority of these leftover domains contain at least one undesirable character (J, Q, X, Y, Z), and if they don’t, then the letter combination is certainly not high-end. In fact, the only LLL on the list that doesn’t have an undesirable character is UUV.ca, and even that one is chock full of three very low-end letters.
One of the most important factors of lower-end LLL.CA domains like these is the presence of a company, especially a large North American company, using the corresponding .COM.
