The .CA To Be Released (TBR) Results
On November 9 at 2PM EST there were 69 .CA domain names selected from the TBR list, which is quite a low number as these usually average over one hundred. A likely cause of this was a preoccupation with the many high-end domain names that mysteriously dropped this week, such as FBI.CA, HIV.CA and AIDS.CA, among many others.
The order of the list is not that important, at least for the first 5 seconds. Prospective buyers are comprised of companies, web developers, investors and speculators, so while seeing a domain name like MARKBURNETT.CA at the top of the list might be surprising, perhaps the British personality really wanted the name, or someone is betting he will in the future. Further down the list, the usual suspects start showing up, like RSO.CA, FBI.CA, AIDS.CA, and HIV.CA, along with BLITZ.CA and POTSHOT.CA (legalized marijuana site?).
From our .CA TBR Report for November 8, we did find a few domain names that managed to sneak through, so feel free to grab them if they catch your eye:
BETRAY.CA – Short and common term, though with a mysterious or shady connotation. Dating site?
DIMED.CA – 10-cents or slang term for excessive.
CYBERNETIC.CA – Tech or science term with multiple uses.
FRESHY.CA – Get on the natural foods bus, also an old school kid’s drink.
MINTAGE.CA – Money, investment term, even Bitcoin and crypto-currency applicability.
MOORING.CA – Boating term, Tours and even selling boating accessories.
REVVED.CA – Car, engine or accessories applications.
STOKER.CA – Dracula, fireplace and accessories. Movie from 2013.
