Each week, the online domain marketplace Sedo.com releases a list of their top domain sales of $2,000 USD or higher. This chart is separated into three sections, the .COM domains, the ccTLDs (Country Code Top-Level Domains) and lastly, the Other domains, which represents the .ORG, .NET and other gTLDs.

The Sedo Weekly Domain Name Sales Recap for April 10 starts off with one major transaction, as closers.com sold for an even $50,000 USD. There were two other noticeable sales, with wellzone.com hitting $20,500 USD and expertmatch.com going for $19,000 USD, while communism.com ($10,099 USD) and cryptolabs.com ($10,000 USD) also hit the very edge of 5-figures. Of the .COM sales, a lot were two-word domains such as arabicpost.com ($8,000 USD), opendining.com ($5,752 USD), hostblog.com ($5,400 USD), and makeuplights.com ($5,000 USD), though the odd single-word like devote.com ($9,000 USD) still managed to sneak in at 4-figures and is looking like quite the bargain. This week’s 44 .COM domain sales of at least $2K is a low water mark over the past few price recaps, as we had 49 qualifying domains last week and a whopping 53 the week before.

The ccTLD section of the Sedo chart features multiple 5-figure sales (in relative USD), and the highest was network.co.uk at 9,800 GBP, then anderson.eu and guns.tv selling for 9,550 EUR and $10,000 USD, respectively. Then we drop down to toybox.co.uk (5,000 GBP), carat.cn ($7,000 USD), wiado.de (5,000 EUR), and supersaver.com.au ($6,000 USD). In all, there were 20 ccTLD domain sales this week (up from 15 last week and down a bit from 21 the week before) that reached a price of at least $2K, and the overall auction leaders came out in this order: .DE (4 listings), .CN (4), .CO.UK (3), .CO (2), .IO (2), and single entries for .COM.AU, .EU, .FR, .NL, and .TV.

The last two weeks we have had 5 Other domains make the chart, and this week shows a slight bump up to 7 sales. Of these, 4 domains were from .ORG, but surprisingly, the two chart leaders were live.casino at 24,500 GBP and the repetitive chat.chat for $20,000 USD. The old school extensions start up in the third spot, with joyful.org ($12,500 USD) and colors.org ($12,500 USD) both hitting 5-figures. Once again we have a single .NET slinking into the bottom of the chart, as wellnest.net barely made the grade at $2,500 USD.
