Each week, the online domain marketplace Sedo.com releases a list of their top public domain sales of $2,000 USD or higher (private sales are not reported). This chart is separated into three sections, the .COM domains, the ccTLDs (Country Code Top-Level Domains) and lastly, the Other domains, which represents the .ORG, .NET and other gTLDs.

The Sedo Weekly Public Domain Sales Recap covers domain sales from September 24 to September 30. This week, there were 9 .COM domain sales that hit 5-figures, headlined by looka.com selling for an even 50,000 GBP (~$65K USD) to lead the entire Sedo chart. This is followed by idwell.com ($20,000 USD), givegift.com ($15,000 USD), cashbank.com ($15,000 USD), and articlebook.com (10,000 GBP). There were a few interesting pronounceables like flowx.com ($12,000 USD), wato.com ($12,000 USD), riseo.com (5,500 EUR), and smaat.com ($5,500 USD). Overall, we counted 44 Sedo .COM transactions of $2,000 or higher this week, which is down slightly from the 50 and 46 sales from the previous two weeks.

The ccTLD section of the recap features a pair of short domains at the top of the list, as lynx.co sold for 6,999 GBP and hmg.eu reached 6,950 EUR. There were a few ccTLD word domains sold this week, including blackjack.co ($6,000 USD), retreat.io ($5,000 USD), food.st ($4,500 USD), october.eu (2,370 EUR), and gin.tv ($2,000 USD). Overall, this week’s chart included 15 ccTLD domain sales that reached a price of at least $2K (up slightly from the 14 sales of last week but down a bit compared to the 19 qualifying transactions from the week before that), and the overall auction leaders sorted out in this order: .DE (5 listings), .CO (2), .EU (2), and single entries for .CH, .CN, .CO.UK, .IO, .ST, and .TV.

The number of domains on the Other domain recap stays within the usual range once again, this time led by another .online sale (king.online headlined the list last week) as design.online sold for a massive $57,500 USD and took second place overall on the Sedo chart. After that, it’s a long trip down to rhc.org selling for $14,500 USD and an even bigger drop to third spot with adastra.net hitting 3,500 EUR. There is also a rare co.com sighting (should it be in the .COM section?) with hb.co.com coming in at $3,550 USD. In total, there were 5 sales in the Other category this week, which matches up closely to the 6 sales from last week and the 5 listings we had 2 weeks ago.
