Each week, the online domain marketplace Sedo.com releases a list of their top public domain sales of $2,000 USD or higher (private sales are not reported). This chart is separated into three sections, the .COM domains, the ccTLDs (Country Code Top-Level Domains) and lastly, the Other domains, which represents the .ORG, .NET and other gTLDs.

This Sedo Weekly Public Domain Sales Recap covers public domain transactions from October 28 to November 3, 2019. We start off the .COM section of this recap with pageview.com finishing within a hair of $20K at $19,988 USD, which was followed by a quintet of 5-figure transactions that included admixer.com ($18,000 USD), fastvpn.com ($15,000 USD), navitel.com ($13,299 USD), biec.com ($10,000 USD), and africarising.com ($10,000 USD). There were other notable .COM domain sales of the week, such as the 3-character lv3.com ($5,980 USD), the single-words mosaique.com ($6,500 USD) and arene.com (3,888 EUR), the pronounceable/brandable ypera.com ($8,000 USD), foreverly.com ($2,998 USD), and zenteo.com ($2,488 USD), as well as higher-ranking multi-words like urbananimal.com ($5,799 USD), darkmode.com ($4,999 USD), and liabilitysoftware.com ($4,500 USD). In all, we counted a total of 35 .COM transactions of $2,000 or higher this week, which is a bit lower than the range of 42, 40, and 39 qualifiers from our last three Sedo recaps.

The ccTLD section is home to the largest sale of the week, as the 4-letter kama.co transferred owners at a very healthy price tag of 20,000 EUR. That only other 5-figure sale was christoph.de at 9,000 EUR, and this barely qualified when translated to relative USD.The next-largest ccTLD domain transactions were solteros.es (5,000 EUR), produktvergleiche.de (5,000 EUR), apuesta.pe (5,000 EUR), and lokal.at (5,000 EUR). It was also not a big week for smaller 2 and 3-letter domains, and traditional single-words were also extremely rare, with only a few like halloween.ai ($3,000 USD), laurine.de (2,250 EUR), and bingo.com.pe (2,000 EUR) making an appearance. Overall, this week’s chart featured 20 ccTLD domain sales that reached a price of at least $2K (which is still in same area code of the 16, 26, and 22 range of similar transactions from the prior 3 recaps), with the country extension leaders sorting out in this order: .DE (4 listings), .FR (3), .AI (2), .CO (2), .CO.UK (2), and then single entries for .CN, .COM.CN, .COM.PE, .ES, .EU, .PE, and .PL.

The Other section of our recap is up a bit from the 2 qualifiers of last week, and we have a major player changing hands as the rare 2-letter pc.org sold for $20,500 USD. This was the only 5-figure sale in this area, with other important listings being dondusang.net ($4,277 USD), sign.net (3,800 EUR), and ctcc.org ($3,750 USD). In terms of the old versus new gTLD battle, with only a single new gTLD entry (diabetic.supplies at $3,500 USD), the old guys took easy victories in both the total dollar value and total domain number challenges. We totaled 6 domain sales in this week’s Other section, which contrasted with the 2, 9, and 5 transaction numbers of our last 3 weekly updates.
